Solitude And Peace

“The monotony and solitude of a quiet life stimulates the creative mind.” – Albert Einstein

Greetings my dear readers! Tis the season to come together and yet here I am, ruminating about solitude. You see, as an introvert I cannot possibly stress the importance of solitude enough. Some might think it is exaggerated and roll their eyes, but truly, the lack of it might drive an introvert crazy.

We must understand that there is a huge difference between solitude and loneliness. Just because people choose to enjoy their solitude and peace from time to time, does not mean they are loners. Any person, even an extrovert, needs that time alone whether it is to introspect or just take a break from the hustle and bustle of life. Especially when you take off into the creative lane in life, solitude is gold. A disturbed mind cannot possibly create; when the mind is preoccupied, how can the imagination soar?
